Arthur Eric “Gabby” Ellis, Jr., 37 of Baisden, departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2010, at his residence.
Born at Williamson on August 26, 1972, he was the son of Arthur and Anita Huff Ellis, Sr.
Gabby was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hollie and Janie Ellis and his maternal grandfather, Ford Huff.
He was a loving son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, and friend. He was a general laborer, and of the Church of God Faith. He loved to go 4-wheeling, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy are: his precious son, Gage Nicholas Ellis of Cleveland, Ohio; his loving parents: Arthur and Anita Huff Ellis, Sr., of Baisden; his two brothers: Jessie Lee Ellis and companion, LeeAnn Beavers, and James D. Ellis, both of Baisden; his sister, Sandra (Mark) Belcher of Baisden; his maternal grandmother, Jessie Huff of Oceana; his two nieces: Savannah Belcher and Seanna M. Ellis, both of Baisden; his nephew, Braxton Belcher of Baisden; his great nephew, Joshua Chase Grimmett of Baisden; his special friend and the mother of his precious son Gage, Nicole Adkins of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden on Monday, April 5th from 6 to 10 pm, with a service at 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 6th at the Full Gospel Church of God with the Rev. Jonas Trent, Rev. Dale Collins, and Rev. Roscoe May officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ellis Cemetery at Baisden.
He will be carried to his final resting place by: Jeff Cline (Best Friend), Mark Blankenship, Robert Huff, Willes L. “Shorty” Ellis, Hollie Ray Ellis, Billy Jack Ellis, Jimmy Ray Ellis, Nathanial “Worm” Ellis, Mickey Ray “Mick” Ellis, Lonnie Cline, Jr., Matthew Christian, and Josh Grimmett.
