Billy Lee May, 40 of Justice, departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2010, at his residence.

Born at Williamson on June 27, 1970, he was the son of the late Fred and Verlie Ellis May.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death two brothers:  Andrew “Peanut” and Buddy May; and one sister, Nellie Hall.

Billy was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.  He was a mechanic and logger and of the Church of God faith.  He loved being outside and spending time with his wonderful family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are:  his loving wife, Michelle LeeAnn Belcher May of Justice; his two sons:  Dakota Lee May of Justice and Billy Shawn Trent of Verner; his mother, Rose May of Gilbert; his seven brothers:  Kenny (Tanya) Stanley of Coal Mountain, James Stanley of Justice, Jake (Kathy) Stanley of Verner, Tim (Connie) May of Wharncliffe, Roscoe (Mary) May of Gilbert, Danny (Tince) May of Gilbert, and Tracy (Charlotte) May of Baisden; his two sisters:  Sissie (Nickie) Browning of Gilbert and Deanna (Leonard) Hoosier of Man; his special friends:  Anthony Cline, Chester Beavers, KW New, and Chris Layne; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family, to celebrate Billy’s life, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Wednesday, July 21^st from 6 to 9 pm with a service at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 22^nd at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Ward and the Rev. Denny May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Varney Cemetery at Varney.

He will be carried to his final resting place by:  James, Jake & Kenny Stanley, Billy Shawn Trent, Anthony Cline, Chris Layne, Chester Beavers, and Adam Church.
