Clifton Salmons, Jr.

Clifton Salmons, Jr., 33 of Baisden, departed this life on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at Williamson Memorial Hospital.

Born at Man on November 19, 1976, he was the son of the late Clifton and Sylvia Bailey Salmons, Sr.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Vicie Salmons and his maternal grandparents, Homer and Romaine Bailey.

Clifton was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend.  He loved 4-wheeling, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a disabled lineman with the power company in Tennessee and was of the Jesus Name Faith. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Those left to love and cherish his memory are:  his “Mom and Dad”, Abigail and Dale Bailey of Baisden; his two sisters:  Chrisma (Brandon) Sammons of Baisden and Shaunna Salmons of Wharncliffe; his two brothers:  David (Betsy) Bailey of Martinsville VA and Christopher (Crystal) Salmons of Baisden; his seven nephews:  Hunter, Braxton, Connor, Brady, Branson, Chris, and Trevor; his two nieces: Brooke and Ashley; his special friend, Scotty Sammons of Baisden; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Saturday, January 16^th from 6 to 9 pm.  A service will be held at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 17^th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matthew Stanley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lester Cemetery at Baisden.

He will be carried to his final resting place by:  Jaun Montenegro, Christopher Salmons, David Bailey, Brandon Sammons, Brandon Cline, James Lester, James Salmons, and James F. Lester.

Honorary pallbearers are:  Scotty Sammons, Billy Ray Lester, Bill Bailey, James Jackson, Scottie Cline, and other family and friends.
