Geneva Stamper Toler

Geneva Stamper Toler, 81, of Landville, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, after a short illness.

Born in Ashland Kentucky on March 19, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Sarah Stewart Stamper.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ira “Tadlock” Toler, Jr.; two brothers:  Virgil Stamper of Ashland KY and Charles Stamper of Russell KY. 

Geneva was a homemaker and a member of the Bruno Church of God for over 40 years.  She loved to read, shop, eat, and play scrabble.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are:  her four sons:  Russell Toler of Landville, Sam (Linda) Toler of Crawfordville FL, Chuck (Shirley) Toler of Jacksonville, FL, and Bill (Bev) Toler of Cyclone; her daughter, Norma (James) Trent of Bruno; her 11 grandchildren; her 10 great grandchildren; and a host of friends and church family who she thought dearly of.

Friends may gather with the family at the Bruno Church of God at Bruno on Sunday, January 10th from 6 to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 11th at the Bruno Church of God with Pastor Roger Frye and Glen Browning officiating. 

Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

She will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
