Nelson Mounts, Jr.

Nelson Mounts, Jr., 84 of Baisden, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join his loved ones waiting on him in heaven, on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born at Isaban on December 28, 1925, he was the son of the late Nelson and Angeline Simpson Mounts, Sr.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son; James Nelson Mounts, and one daughter, Dimple Kay Cain.

Nelson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was a loving and caring person who enjoyed going to church and singing.  He attended church at the Justice Tabernacle.  He also loved spending time with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy include  his loving wife, Dorothy Mounts of Baisden; his son, Richard (Cecelia) Mounts of Switzer; his daughter- in-law; Delilah Mounts of Baisden; his grandsons: Chris (Tiffany) Mounts of Foster, Joey Mounts of Switzer, James (Loretta) Mounts, Matthew Mounts, and  Ethan Mounts, all of  Baisden, Joshua Mounts of Huntington, and Charles of Columbus, OH;  his granddaughter: Eloise Baughman of Columbus, OH; great-granddaughters; Heather and Amanda of Columbus, OH, and  Katelyn and Maya of Foster;  great grandson Adam of Columbus, OH, a very special nephew, Roger (Gail) Cline of Baisden, and a host of other family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, on Monday, March 22^nd from 6 to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 23rd, at  Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randall Staton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wilburn Cline Family Cemetery at Baisden.

He will be carried to his final resting place by his precious grandsons.
