Terrina Lynn Johnson

A sweet and loving daughter, wife, and mother, Terrina Lynn Johnson, 39 of Gilbert, departed this life on Friday, May 28, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington.

Born at Man on January 31, 1971, she was the daughter of Leon Lester and Debbie  Clark Hoosier.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Benita Lester, one brother, Carey Lester,  her maternal grandparents, Jack and Shirley Clark; and her paternal grandparents, Sherman and Arminta Lester.

Terrina was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.  She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.  She enjoyed sports and was once a cheerleader.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to carry on her legacy include her mother, Debbie (Don) Hoosier of Man; her father, Leon (Missy) Lester of Baisden; her husband, Mark Johnson of Wharncliffe; her two sons:  Daniel Mark and Chastin Johnson, both of Man; her sister, Crystal Lester of Oceana; her half-brother, Donovan Lester; her half-sister, Jade Lester; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family to celebrate Terrina’s life at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden on Tuesday, June 1^st from 6 to 9 pm.  A service will be held at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 2^nd at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer with the Rev. Diamond Carter and Rev. Carl “Cab” Wolford officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Oak Log Cemetery at Baisden.

She will be carried to her final resting place by:  Kevin Cine, Eric Carter, Carl, Greg, James, and Mark Clark, and Arnie Toler.

Honorary pallbearers are:  Freddie West, Michael Berry, and Ralph Johnson.
