Virgie Cline Hunt

A sweet and loving mother and grandmother, Virgie Cline Hunt, 90 of Gilbert, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010, from Logan Regional Medical Center.

 

Born at Isaban on December 29, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Kenna and  Cora Allen Cline.

 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mont Hunt and her siblings:  Rhoda Chapman, Elzora Devoy, Bartley Cline, Lannie Cline, J. B. Cline, and Everett Cline.

 

Virgie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She loved spending time with her wonderful family and friends.  She was a homemaker and was a member of the Huntersville Southern Baptist Church and attended the Horsepen Southern Baptist Church.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Those left to love and cherish her memory include her son, Bartley (Hazel) Hunt of Gilbert; her two grandsons:  Christopher (Helena) Hunt of Chesapeake VA and Curtis Hunt of Gilbert; her brother, Virgil Cline of Tennessee; her two sisters:  Magdalene Conkle of Hurley VA and Geneva (Robert) Harvey of Spanishburg; and a host of other dear family and friends.

 

Friends may gather with the family, to celebrate Virgie’s life, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, July 25th from 12 noon to 2 pm.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 25th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Trent officiating.

 

Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert.

 

She will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
