Wanda Faye Bradford May

On Tuesday, April 13th, 2010, our sweet and loving wife and mother, Wanda Faye Bradford May, 65, of Baisden, went home to be with Jesus from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan.
Born at Wharncliffe on August 12th, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Arlin and Laura Murphy Bradford.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Micco Jesus Church. She loved going to church and spending time with her church family and she loved to sing. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren, (who were her pride, joy, and life). She also loved spending time with her dear family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to carry on her legacy include her loving husband of 51 years, Gary Neal May of Baisden; her three loving daughters: Elaine (Freddie) Dean, and Angela (Donnie) Cyrus, both of Baisden, and Miranda (Greg) Taylor of Wharncliffe; her beloved son, Greg (Brandy) May of Hanover; her brother, Dennis (Charlotte) Bradford of Marengo, KY; her eight wonderful grandchildren; her ten precious great grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Micco Jesus Church at Micco on Friday, April 16th after 6:00 pm. A service will be held at 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 17th at the Micco Jesus Church with pastor Jim Fletcher and pastor Butch White officiating.
Burial will follow in the May Cemetery at Baisden.
She will be carried to her final resting place by: Joey Mounts, Gary Joe Vance, Michael Cline, Donnie Wollum, Crow Ellis, Virgil Williams, Larry Yates, Gabriel and Randy Blackburn, and Josh Chapman.
Honorary pallbearers are: J. C. Waller, James Spangler, Bro. Jack Lambert, Bro. Queen, Ellis Gibson, Lester Williams, and Darrick Marcum.
