Wells Drewey Justice

On Sunday, May 9th, 2010, a child of God, Wells Drewey Justice, 91 of Justice, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join his loved ones waiting for him in heaven, from Williamson ARH in South Williamson, KY.

Born on October 7, 1918, at Leatherwood, he was the son of the late Thomas and India Walls Justice.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Christine Blankenship; two sons:  Benny and James Justice; two brothers:  Audrey “Hoost” and Ireland Justice; and one sister, Mattie Justice.

Wells Drewey was a loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, uncle, and friend.  He was a retired truck driver and construction worker.  He was a Christian for over 70 years and was a member of the Justice Tabernacle.  He loved working in his garden, and going fishing, but his favorite thing to do was going to church and spending time with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy include his two sons:  Kennis (Zelda) Justice and Freddy Justice, both of Justice; his four daughters:  Joyce (Barry) Browning of Wharncliffe, Darlene (Mike) Toler of Cleveland OH, Sereta (Randy) Harvey of Justice, and Karen (Michael) Hall of Justice; his twenty-two wonderful grandchildren; his twenty-eight precious great grandchildren; his three precious great great grandchildren; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Justice Tabernacle at Justice on Wednesday, May 12th after 6 pm. A service will be held at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 13th at the Justice Tabernacle with the Rev. Randall Staton and the Rev. Larry Lester officiating.

Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Justice.

He will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.
