Gary Frederick Vance

Gary Frederick Vance, 66 of Baisden, WV departed this life Thursday, April 11, 2024 from his residence.

Born November 21, 1957 at Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Brown) Vance.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife: Tamera Vance; son: Gary J. Vance; sister: Theresa Gibson; in laws: Joseph and Carol Mounts.

Gary enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his loss are his wife: Cynthia Vance of Baisden, WV; daughters: Natasha (Roy) Blankenship of Matewan, WV and Crystal (Norwood) Harrison of Gilbert, WV; sons: Kenneth (Rebecca) Hatfield, Brandon (Andrea) Hatfield; grandchildren: Starling Blankenship, Baylee Blankenship, Braxton Belcher, Hunter Heath, Dalton, Chloe, and Brody Hatfield, Chasiti (Colton) Harrison, and Jeremy (Madi) Harrison; sister: Lori Vance (Larry) Toler of Bruno, WV; and brothers: Ken (Jacquetta) Vance of Indian Creek, WV and Glen (Nancy) Vance of Pikeville, KY.  Gary also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Sunday, April 14, 2024 after 6:00pm at the Faith Church of God at Wharncliffe, WV where funeral services will begin on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Danny Ward, Rev. Denny May, Rev. Rick Endicott officiating.  Burial will follow in the Browning Family Cemetery at Wharncliffe, WV.

Gary will be carried to his resting place by pallbearers: Roylee Blankenship, Terry Vance, Colton Chafins, Starling Blankenship, James Plymale, Ryan, and Billy Thomas.  Honorary pallbearers are: Norwood and Jeremy Harrison, Keith Mounts, Timmy, and Devon Thomas.
