Adam Berry Walker Cline, 46 of Oceana, departed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Long Branch Road of Simon.
Born January 15, 1965 at Wayne County, Michigan, he was the son of Evelena Lawrence Cline Hughes and the late Woodrow Walker.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two sisters: Cathleen Nicholes and Tamie Kenneda; his paternal grandparents, Verlin and Elva Walker; his maternal grandparents, Connie Lee and Kizzie Lawrence; his niece, Tiffany Kennedy; his great-nephew, Bailey Braiden Toler; his great-niece, Morgan Faith Ramsey; his father-in-law, Don Kennedy; his brother-in-law, Don Kennedy, Jr.; and his best friend, Roy "Slim" Dikes.
Adam was a loving son; father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a logger and of the pentecostal faith. He loved all aspects of racing, he was an expert marksman, he loved to fish, and was a true outdoorsman. He will be greatlly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to love and cherish his memory and to mourn his passing include his mother Evelena Hughes of Simon; his step-father, Ralph Hughes of Simon; his three sons: Christopher Cline of Oceana, Brian Cline and his companion, Tabitha Bailey of Matheny, and Austin Blake Gibson of Oceana; his daughter, Nikki Cline and her companion, Shawn Lafferty of Oceana; his grandson, Jermiah Cline of Oceana; his two sisters: Adeline (Ralph) Bailey of New Richmond and Evonda (Preston) Kennedy of Pineville; his brother, Verlin Todd Cline of Long Branch; his ex-wife, Nadean Cline of Oceana; his mother-in-law, Tressie Kennedy of Oceana; his three special nieces: Becky "Boose" (Adam) Toler, Ashely (Shane) Godsey, and Melissa Ramsey; his five special nephews: Erick, Rocky, Jeremy, and Jason Ramsey, and Jaybird Kennedy; his two special cousins: Anthony "Pops" and Jeff Rose; two expected grandchildren; his ex-daughter-in-law, Jennifer Coffee; his ex-brother-in-law, Kevin Kenneda; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church at Simon on Thursday and Friday, April 14th and 15th after 6 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 16th at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joey Massey and Rev. Gary Browning officiating.
Burial will follow in the Morgan Sandau Cemetery at Simon.
He will be carried to his final resting place by friends.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
