Christine Boggs

Christine Boggs, 58 of Morgantown, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and joined her loved ones waiting for her in heaven on Monday, June 30, 2014, from Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born January 30, 1956, at Man, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vanchie Ellis Boggs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 4 brothers: Roger Boggs, Ronald Boggs, James Boggs and Oley Boggs; 2 sisters: Narrine Cohn and Marie Boggs. Christine was a devout Christian for 42 years, she was of the Freewill Baptist faith and she loved reading and studying her bible and listening to old time gospel music. Christine was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She was a graduate of West Virginia University and a social worker for the WV Division of Rehabilitation. Those left to love and cherish the memory of Christine and to mourn her passing include her precious dog, Nudie Boggs, 3 sisters: June(Gary) Smith of Columbus, OH, Kathy (Lou) Buryns of St. Louis, Missouri and Debra (Bernie) Ellis of Chapmanville, WV; 1 brother: Lowell Boggs of Mooresville, NC; her many friends in her hometown of Morgantown; many nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends. Friends may gather with the family at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church at Bruno on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, July 8th with the Rev. Bill Cantrell and Rev. Tilley Walls officiating. Burial will follow in the Browning & Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno, WV. Christine will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends. She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
