Obituary

Denise Ann “Dee” Collins, 38 of Bruno, departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2012, at her residence.

Born on February 3, 1973, in Michigan, she was the daughter of Donna Griffin Collins Bragg and the late Ronald Collins.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Cal and Fredona Perry Collins and her maternal grandparents, Clifford and Ethel Browning Griffin.

Dee was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith.  She loved spending time with her wonderful family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Dee and to mourn her passing include her daughter, Halee Gibson of Bruno; her son Ryan Collins Bragg of Gilbert; her mother and step-father, Donna and Jimmy Bragg of Gilbert; her brother, Ronald (Amber) Collins of Bruno; her nephew, Dylan Collins of Bruno; her step-brother, Jimmy Lee (Amanda) Bragg of Gilbert; her step-nephews:  Preston Dingess and Jordan Bragg; her aunts:  Carol (Les) Browning of Man, Betty Dame of West Palm Beach Florida and Rhonda Ferguson of Georgia; a very special aunt, Donna (Tilly) Walls of Verner; her uncle, Ricky Collins of Bruno; a special friend, Tony Lusk of Cyclone; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Wednesday, January 11^th from 6 pm to 9 pm with a special service at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 12^th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Dee will be carried to her final resting place by:  Steve and Nick Grimmett, Arlie Scott and Gary Kyle Griffin, Byran Griffin and Mike Gibson.

Honorary pallbearer is her uncle Rick Collins.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
