Place: Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert, WV

Donnie L. Cline New, 76 of Baisden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Thursday, September 15th, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan.

Born on May 21, 1935, at North Spring, she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Belva Justice Davis.

In addition to her parents her was preceded in death by her first husband, Ranse Cline, Jr; an infant son, Bryant Keith; her second husband, Amos New; two sisters:  Edna Hatfield and Trish Cochran; and two brothers:  Cleatus and Doug Davis.

Donnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden.  Donnie loved spending time with her wonderful family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Donnie and to mourn her passing include her six children: Susan (Ed) Shaffer of Wheeling, Rhonda (Crocket) West of Baisden, Glenda (Darrell) Walls of Baisden, Dennis Cline of Ikes Fork, Lora (Darrell) Cline of Baisden, and Regina (Lynn) Cline of Gate City Virginia; her eleven grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; her brother, Johnny Davis; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Sunday, September 18th from 6 pm to 9 pm with a special service at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, September 19th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Trent officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ranse Cline Jr.Family Cemeterya t Baisden.

Donnie will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

Sorry your loss. I know the pain so well, its only been 2 months i loss my mother. I often think something happen for a reason. I think two sister had reunited in heaven and put aside their differences. I loved my aunt Don and I have many great memories. I can't handle coming to the services due to my memotional state right now. My is still in the hospital and isn't able. We have had a rough 2 months. WIll keep the family in our prayers. Susan, Rhonda, Glenda and the rest of the family-Mom and I are so sorry about Don's passing. She was always so good to us and full of fun and laughter. We shall miss her a great deal. Girls, my heart is so broken with the sudden death of my special friend Donnie. I had planned to go visit with her while I was in Mingo County. I won't be able to attend her services, but I will keep all of you in my Prayers.
