Drewey Glen Wolford

Drewey Glen Wolford, 55 of Riverview Section of Gilbert, departed this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, WV. Born on April 25, 1959, at Wharncliffe, WV, he was the son of the Late Bill and Magdalene Johnson Wolford. In addition to his parents Drewey was also preceded in death by a brother: William Ray Wolford; sister: Joyce Cantrell; niece: Karen Renee Johnson; mother & father in law: Saul & Rosa Dean. Drewey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a carpenter by trade. Drewey was an avid fisher and hunter. He loved his family, friends and life. Those left to love and cherish the memory of Drewey and to mourn his passing include is loving wife of 38 years Ruby Jean Dean Wolford of Riverview; son: Jeffrey Glen (Candra Lester) Wolford of Riverview; his pride and joy his grandson: Zachary Lee Wolford of Riverview; brother: Carter (Debbie) Wolford of Wharncliffe; 2 sisters: Murlene (Randolph) Cantrell and Velma (Stewart) Johnson both of Wharncliffe; half- brother: Larry Joe Teems of Baisden; and a host of other dear family and friends. Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Browning and Rev. Gary Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert. Drewey will be carried to his final resting place by Jamie Cantrell, Randy Johnson, Joey Browning, Nick Dean, Luke Dean, Josh Dean, Nate Brown and Joshua Lester. Honorary Pallbearers will be Enos Blankenship, Tommy Dean, Johnny Dean, Pete Dean, Bill Dean, Thurman Tolliver, Preston Short, Jimmy Joe Grimmett and Carter Wolford.
