Obituary

After a long illness, Helen May Testerman Mounts peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.  She was 76 years old.

Helen was one of 11 children born to the late Authur and Dolly Lester Testerman.  Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Hazel (Junior) Hatfield and Joyce (Lucky) Compton; three brothers, Coy (Versie Chirsitan), Carl and Lawrence Testerman; granddaughter, Sarah Beth Mounts and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Ellis.

Surviving sisters are Nell Anderson and Jean Mounts, surviving brothers are Charles (Faye), Julian (Inez) and Carl Anthony Testerman.

Helen married Charles Argus Mounts (now deceased) in 1950 and they raised five children, all whom survive her:  daughters, Marcella (Jerry) Mounts, Debra (Steve) Walls and Kristi Cline, and sons, James (Sandy) and Johnnie (Marsha) Mounts.

Helen was a homemaker and attended the Church of Christ.  She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

As she requested, her body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family has requested donations be made to the Logan Shrine Children's Hospital Fund, 441 Stratton Street, Logan, WV  25601.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville  served the Mounts family in honoring the wishes of Helen.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
