Herman Christian

Herman Eugene Christian, Jr., 47, of Kistler, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at CAMC General Division in Charleston, WV. Born January 10, 1970, at Man, he was the son of the late Herman and Carolyn Evans Christian, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Dovie and Alex Evans, and his paternal grandparents: Rosie and Orie Christian; and two infant children. Herman enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching the DIY Channel and CSI shows. He loved fishing and also loved his job at Walmart. He will be greatly missed. Those left to love and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 24 years and 3 months: Audrey Hager Christian of Kistler; three daughters: Angel (Dennis) Collins of Dunbar, Crystal Christian and Paula Christian both of Kistler; three wonderful grandchildren: Jade Collins, Austin Collins, and Xavier Collins all of Dunbar; one sister: Eugenia Collins of Robinette; special nieces: Haleigh Hager of Davin and Bek Williamson of Logan; special nephew: Aarion Price Canterbury of Logan; a special brother-in-law, whom he loved as a brother: Paul Hager, Jr., of Mallory. Herman also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends. To honor his wishes, he will be cremated. He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
