Obituary
Inas Stanley Mounts, 88 of Baisden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her many loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Friday, January 13, 2012, from the home of her son Pedro (Loretta) Mounts, with whom she made her home recently.
Born on October 1, 1923, at Wharncliffe, she was the daughter of the late George and Alta Bradford Stanley.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, George Mounts; one daughter, Marlene Roberts; four brothers: Hollie, Harrison, Virgil and Franklin Stanley; and one sister, Betty Paepke.
Inas was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She was a founding member of the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden. She loved spending time with her wonderful family, her church family, and her friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Inas and to mourn her passing include her three sons: Carlos (Loretta) Mounts of Hanover, Charles Mounts of Gilbert and Donald Mounts of Dothan, AL; her five daughters: Sue (Curtis) Blankenship of Gilbert, Louise Campbell of Man, Brenda Wilson of Gilbert, Barbara (Bruce) Myers of Charleston and Sharon (Eugene) Ellis of Charleston; her seventeen grandchildren: Jamie, Jim and Jared Roberts, Michael and Dwayne Mounts, Bonnie and Connie Smith, Taunia Smith, Danny Abbott, Jr., Bradley Wicker, Annie Cook, Bridgett Clay, Charity Fortner, Erica Cline, Kaylah Meade, Courtney Eubanks and Kenneth Trent; her twenty-five great-grandchildren: Julie Ward, Brock Hoch, Tony, Cheyenne, Jonah, Joel, Taylor and Tru Roberts, Mandy, Laney, Dillon and Brady Smith, Connor, Kelsey and Kensey Mounts, Sydney and Tre’ Smith, Tristan and Grabrel Gray, Milicent and Moriah Clay, Hannah and Cassidy Cline, Addison Lester, and Kenden Trent; her great-great-granddaughter, Mercedes Ward; her two sisters: Virginia Testerman Sparks and Janice Gibson; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Monday, January 16th from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Trent, Rev. Arville Cline and Timer May officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Sharon Heights of Hampden.
Inas will be carried to her final resting place by her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are: Timer May, Macky May, Rex Grubb, Colin Cline, Roy Cline, Jr. Abbott, Ricky, Mickey and Ferlin Christian and Richard Cline.
She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
