Obituary

Joe James “J-Bug” Lawrence, Jr., 52 of Verner, departed this life on Friday, January 13^th at Hubbard Hospice House at Charleston.

Born on December 15, 1959 at Columbus Ohio he was the son of Joe James Lawrence, Sr., and the late Delores Jean Goodman Lawrence.

J-Bug was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.  He was a certified welder and a hydraulic mechanic.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.  He loved fishing and spending time with his wonderful family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Those left to love and cherish the memory of J-Bug and to mourn his passing include his father, Joe James Lawrence, Sr., of Verner; his two brothers:  Jerry Michael (Teresa) McNeely of Amherstdale and Victor Dwayne (Valerie) Lawrence of Colorado Springs Colorado; his two sisters:  Sharon Kay Lawrence of Boulder Colorado and Darlina Lawrence of St. Pauls North Carolina; his nephews:  John Michael McNeely, Vincent Demetre Lawrence, Robert Scott Keener, Michael James Keener and Christopher Hoyt Bellegeante; his nieces:  Paula Jean McNeely, Gabriella Davon Martinez and Jasmine Unique Harris; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel in Gilbert on Monday, January 16^th from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Funeral services will commence at 2 pm on Monday, January 16^th at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Denny May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery at Gilbert.

J-Bug will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
