John Bradford

John "John Boy" Bradford, 40 of Wharncliffe departed this life on Saturday, April 29, 2017 following injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Born September 9, 1976 at Williamson, WV he was the son of Gary "Hank" & Sandra Bradford of Wharncliffe. John was preceded in death by his grandparents: Columbus Sr. and Bertha Bradford, Milton & Kizzie Morrison; niece: Layla Browning; uncle: Columbus Bradford Jr. John was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved being outdoors, he enjoyed kayaking and riding motorcycles. John enjoyed spending time with his friends, but his main priority in life was his beloved daughter Amber. Those left to love and cherish the memory of John and to mourn his passing include his beloved daughter: Amber Bradford of Wharncliffe; parents: Gary "Hank" & Sandra Bradford of Wharncliffe; two sisters: Christina (Paul) Browning of Wharncliffe, Carri Jo (Jerome) Lester of Gilbert; 2 nieces: Maria Browning & Amelia Lester; nephew: Owen Lester; special friends that John chose to be his brothers: Jerry Lee Hatfield, David Dotson and Carl Toler; and a host of other dear family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6-9 pm at Faith Church of God at Wharncliffe, with a special service beginning at 7:00pm with the Rev. Danny Ward and Pastor Jessie Cline officiating. To honor his wishes John was cremated.
