Nancy Hatfield

Nancy Hatfield, 80, of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at St. Francis Select Care in Charleston, WV. Born October 24, 1935, at Leatherwood, she was the daughter of the late James & Delphia Kennedy. Also preceding her in death were her husband; Franklin Hatfield; daughter: Claudette Morgan; 4 sisters: Martha Browning, Ruby Browning, Susan Lester & Sarah Morgan; 5 brothers: Mac Kennedy, Buster Kennedy, John "Buck" Kennedy, Michael "Dude" Kennedy & Jess Kennedy. Nancy was a homemaker where she devoted her time and love to her children and grandchildren. Nancy was of the Pentecostal Faith. She attended the Gilbert Church of God where she enjoyed worshiping with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: Oley (Marsha) Hatfield, Barry Hatfield, Elmer Hatfield all of Hanover, Meredith (Regina) Hatfield of Cub Creek; daughters: Andrea (Doug) Bledsoe of Hanover, Nannie (Kenny) Butcher of Charleston; son-in-law: Herbert Morgan of Beckley; nine grandchildren: Michelle England, Amy Toler, Latisha Cochran, Jeremy Morgan, Adam Hatfield, Derek Hatfield, Rachel King, Desarai Hatfield, Wesley Hatfield; 10 great grandchildren; a special friend Gladys Allen; and a host of nieces and nephews. Burial will follow at the Hatfield Family Cemetery at Hanover. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers. She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
