Phyllis Riley

Phyllis Riley, 59 of Panther, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to join her loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Thursday, February 18th, 2010, from Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born at Iaeger on December 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Hannibale and Alafair Dotson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Jinks Dotson and one sister, Minnie Ree Bailey.

Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a loving and caring lady with a warm and loving smile for everyone. She was a homemaker and a member of the Panther Missionary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are: her loving husband, Ralph Riley of Panther; her loving daughter, Patricia Carol Justus of Mohawk; her two wonderful sons: Harley Riley of Mohawk and Timmy (Ginger) Riley of Panther; her five wonderful grandsons: Joshua, Heath, Alex, Brandon, and Anthony; her beautiful granddaughter, Cheyenne; her special niece and nephew, Ross and Candi; her sister, Bonnie (Teddy) Cline of Lincolnton NC; and a host of other special nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church at Panther on Sunday, February 21st after 6 pm, and a service will be held at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 22nd at the Panther Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hunt officiating.

Burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery at Isom Branch of Bull Creek.

She will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
