Obituary
Shelby Jean Cline, 65 of Panther, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke Virginia.
Born on October 11, 1946 at Mohawk, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Ruth Ellis Justice.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Ira, Eugene and Doug Justice and one sister, Josephine Lane.
Shelby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a teacher’s aid and of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed reading, gardening and watching television. Her greatest joy was spending time with her wonderful family and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kind and caring heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Shelby and to mourn her passing include her loving husband of 48 years, Ronald Dean Cline of Panther; her son Tony Dean Cline of Panther; her daughter, Sandy (Charles Dean) Bailey of Princeton; her grandchildren: Zack (Samantha) Bailey of Princeton and Cody Hurley of Bull Creek; her three sisters: Patsy Robinette, Lorene Littles and Norma Bailey; her five brothers: Jerry, Raymond, Russell, Graham and Dot Justice; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Greenbrier of Panther on Sunday, February 12th after 6 pm with a special service at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 13th at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders: Arthur Short, John R. Justice, Fred Bailey, and other Old Regular Baptist preachers.
Burial will follow in the Cline Cemetery at Greenbrier Hollow of Panther.
Shelby will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are: Zack and Dean Bailey, Howard Cline and Butch Lockhart.
She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
