Aileen (Walls) Bailey

Aileen Bailey, 86 of Buckhannon, WV departed this life on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from her residence.

Born December 16, 1931 at Bruno, WV she was the daughter of the late Connie and Truby Walls.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Connie Bailey; son: Donald Ray Bailey; brother: Dale Toler; sister: Helen Walls.

Aileen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She enjoyed quilting and loved to travel.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Aileen and to mourn her passing include her three sons: Elmer Ray Bailey of Morgantown, WV, Connie Lee Bailey of Benton, IL and Clinton Bailey of St. Petersburg, FL; three daughters: Cumia Gaye Cline of Bruno, Glenda Walls of Verner and Karla Bailey of Buckhannon; 26 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; four brothers; six sisters; host of nieces and nephews and other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with family on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Bill Cantrell and Rev. Roger Walls officiating.

Burial will follow at Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno.

Aileen will be carried to her final resting place by Connie Lee Bailey, Clinton Bailey, Conley Bailey, Michael Southerland, Randall Perry and Brian Adkins.

Her loving smile and tender heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
