Alma Sue (Lester) Trent

Alma Sue Trent, 75 of Baisden, departed this life Sunday, January 7, 2018 from her residence.

Born July 31, 1942 at Baisden, she was the daughter of the late Lee Lester, Sr., and Pearl (Murphy) Lester.

In addition to her parents, Alma was also preceded in death by her daughter: Lisa Trent; her grandson: Brian Robinette; sisters: Thelma Cline and Elma Lester; brothers: Echol, Elner, Parker and Lee Lester, Jr.

Alma loved cooking, going to church and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her husband: Thomas Ray Trent of Baisden; her daughter: Rhonda Robinette (Pastor John Thompson) of Baisden; grandchildren: Kayla (Greg) Hurley of Sprattsville, Kirsten Trent of Baisden, and Stevie Dawn (Trevor) Cline of Browning Fork; two very special great-grandchildren: Cash and Macy Hurley, both of Sprattsville; niece: Kimberly Smith; nephew: Chad (Michelle) Lester, all of Baisden; brother: Dexter (Christine) Lester; special niece and caregiver: Linnea Chandler, all of Baisden.  She is also survived by a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm at the Full Gospel Church of God, Baisden, WV, where funeral services will commence on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jonas Trent, Rev. Walter West, Pastor John Thompson, and Brother Learmon Mounts officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lester Family Cemetery at Baisden.

Alma will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends.

Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
