Amy Gilco

Amy Michelle Gilco, 36 of Davin, departed this life on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from Pikeville Medical Center.

Born March 15, 1982 at Man, WV she was the daughter of Alvin Gilco and Brenda Harper.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Denny and Wilma Gibson, Leo and Adalee Gilco.

Amy was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend.  She loved to read and color. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Amy and to mourn her passing include her daughter: Taylor Hatfield of Davin; her two sons: Caleb Gilco and Braxton Gilco both of Davin; her mother and step – father: Brenda and Danny Harper of Davin; her father: Alvin Gilco of Kistler; her boyfriend of two years: Matthew Osborne of Accoville; her two sisters: Brandi Robertson of Accoville and Allie Harper of Accoville; her brother: Douglas Harper of Davin; step-brother: Danny Mandrell Harper of Accoville; many cousins and a host of other dear family and friends.     

Friends may gather with the family on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church.  Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Butch Cobb and Deacon David Mullins officiating.

Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny , WV.

Amy will be carried to her final resting place by Danny M Harper, Donald Gibson, Don Gibson, Matthew Osborne, Michael Gibson and Keith Gibson.

Her beautiful smile and tender heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
