Anthony Dewayne “Wayne” Stafford, 40, of Hanover, departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2018, following a long illness.
Born April 7, 1978, at Man, he was the son of Darwin Rambo of Ikes Fork and Bernice Stafford Walker of Hanover.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Will and Gertrude Stafford; his paternal grandparents Darrell and Phyllis Rambo; one aunt, April Dawn Rambo; and one uncle, Ronnie Stafford.
Wayne was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing. He also liked drawing and listening to music.
Those left to love and cherish Wayne’s memory are his two children: ShaNille Stafford of Bluntsville, TN and Jace Stafford of Oceana; his mother: Bernice (Leon) Walker of Hanover; his father: Darwin (Barbara) Rambo of Ikes Fork; one sister: Shianna (Allen) Goodman of Hanover; special friend, Angie Perry of Oceana; Wayne also leaves behind many aunts and uncles along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Tamcliffe Tabernacle from 1-2 pm where funeral services will commence at 2 pm with Rev. Gary Browning and Rev. Terry Goodman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Browning-Dye Cemetery at Verner. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
