Arthur Ricky Hardy

Arthur Ricky Hardy, 56, of Wharncliffe, departed this life on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born May 26, 1962, at Gilbert, he was the son of the late Walter and Erma (Adams) Childers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sadie and Orville Hatfield.

Ricky was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia “Trish” Hardy; his daughter, Christie (AJ) Justice of Wharncliffe; his grandchildren: Khaleigh and Kaiden Orville Justice both of Wharncliffe, Leland, Keaton, and Paige Justice all of Panther; two sisters: Michelle (Roger) Ellis of Varney and Lisa Hardy of Baisden. Ricky also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Sunday, June 10, 2018, from 6-9 pm at the Gilbert Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the church with Rev. Denny May officiating.

Burial will follow in the Glen Alum Cemetery at Glen Alum. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
