Barbara G. Cline, 84 of Hanover, departed this life Sunday, June 17, 2018 to be with her Lord and Savior, from Trinity Healthcare, Logan, WV.
Born January 25, 1934 at Leatherwood, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lula (Toler) Walls.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Kennis Pharoah Cline; her sisters: Zola New, Georgie Miller, Eunice Walker and Mavis Walls; her brothers: Harlan, Arden, Clinton, Clayton, Dallas, Travis, Thomas, Mayford and Rodney Walls; her son-in-law: Rev. Frank England.
Barbara was a homemaker, seamstress, and a farmer, who had been a devout Christian all her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She read and cherished her Bible every day, which she had read completely through 89 times. She sang gospel music for the glory of the Lord, singing for Miracle Deliverance revivals with Rev. Dewey Russ and WWYO Radio Station with Rev. Russell Cline.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her daughters: Aretta England of Hanover and Vanessa (Cortney) Rasnick of Justice; her granddaughters: Kelly (Jeremy) Steele of Logan and Kimberly (Kelly Jack) Smith of Man; her great grandsons: Aidan and Zackary Steele of Logan; sisters: Clara (Homer) Cline of Simon, Charlotte Maynor of Coal Mountain, Macene (Jeff) Toler of Saulsville and Debora (Ora) Browning of Hanover; brothers: Jarvis (Jennifer) Walls and Dwayne (Drema) Walls, all of North Springs. She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm at the Gilbert Church of God, where funeral services will commence Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Bill Cresong and Rev. Diamond Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery at Justice.
Barbara will be carried to her final resting place by Jeremy and Zackary Steele, Kelly Jack Smith, Eddie Walker and Todd Walls.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
