Charles Amos Harrison

Charles Amos Harrison, 84 of Bruno, departed this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born July 7, 1933 at Bruno, he was the son of the late Ken & Lucy (Grimmett) Harrison.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Acie Harrison and Benny Robert Harrison; 6 sisters: Zannie Marie Harrison, Rosa Ann Fowler, Mary Sims Browning, Lura Smith, Margaret Griffith and Martha Cox.

Charles loved to walk. He loved attending church at several different locations.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Charles and to mourn his passing include is two brothers: Julius Harrison of London, OH and Tennis Harrison of Lucasville, OH; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Roger Frye and Rev. Bill Cantrell Officiating.  Burial will follow at the Harrison Family Cemetery at Bruno.

Charles will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

His tender smile and loving heart will be missed by all those fortunate to have known and love him.
