David Alan Dotson

David Alan Dotson of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Varney, WV, passed away suddenly on March 26, 2018. 

Born on June 22, 1984 at Williamson, WV, he was the son of David and Tammy Dotson of Warren, Michigan.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles (Willa) Mahon and Dave (Jackie) Gartin; uncles: Herbie Butler, Jimmy Tinch, Mitchell Tinch and Thomas Dotson.

David was a loving father, beloved son, brother and uncle.  David’s laughter, smile and kind heart will forever be remembered.  David was a graduate of the class of 2002, of Burch High School of Delbarton, WV.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his son: Julian Dotson; daughter: Brielle Dotson; girlfriend: Nicole Alexander of Michigan; parents: David and Tammy Dotson of Warren, Michigan; brothers: Justin (Shawna) Dotson of Gilbert, WV, Daniel (Charleen) Dotson of Jamestown, NY and Garrick Varney of N.C.; nephews: Ashton Dotson, Isaiah Dotson, Brennon Varney, Jaxon Varney; niece: Carly Dotson; aunts and uncles: Jerry (Luba) Butler of MI, Debbie (Carl) Sheperd of FL, Dreama (Doug) Blankenship, Pamela (Odell) Parks, Kyle (Brenda) Dotson and Kenny (Anita) Evans, all of WV.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Four Winds Tabernacle at Justice, WV, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, where funeral services will commence at 2:00 with Rev. Rick Staten officiating.

Burial will follow in the Icy Garden Cemetery at Taylorville, WV.

David will be carried to his final resting place by family and friends.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
