Ervin Carter

Ervin Carter, 77 of Browning Fork section of Gilbert, departed this life Sunday, May 26, 2019 from Pikeville Medical Center.

Born on September 30, 1941 at Gilbert, he was the son of the late Moss and Ella (Hatfield) Carter.

Ervin loved to farm and work in his garden.

Those left to love and cherish his memory is his special friend who took care of him: Les Morley; his special friends: Jack and Curtis Hatfield, who often would visit with him; caregivers: Mike and Patty Hatfield, Rachel Paynter and Joni Morgan, all of Gilbert, WV; special cousins: Sue & Dennis Bryant of Kistler, Chris Collins of Washington.  He also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather Friday, May 31, 2019 from 6 to 9 pm at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, where funeral services will commence at 7:00 pm with Rev. Diamond Carter officiating.

To honor his wishes, his remains will be cremated.
