Glenetta (Trent) Burgess

Glenetta Burgess, 73 of Sprattsville, WV departed is life on Friday, August 16, 2019 from her residence surround by her loving family.

She was born on June 29, 1946 at Sharon Heights, WV she was the daughter of the late Glenn & Letha (Endicott) Trent.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister: Sonja Darlington.

Glenetta was a 1964 graduate of Gilbert High School and a 1965 Graduate of Cosmetology School in Huntington, WV.  She was saved October 8, 1972, and was a member of the Sharon Heights Assembly.  She enjoyed going to Flea Markets and spending time with her family.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Glenetta was her loving husband: Raymond Jacky Burgess Jr. of Sprattsville; two sons: Eric (Valarie) Burgess of Sprattsville and Brian Burgess of Cape Coral, FL; grandson: Skyler (Rose) Burgess of Myrtle Beach; two granddaughters: Sarah Burgess and Sadie Burgess of Sprattsville; great granddaughter: Lamaris Anes of Myrtle Beach, SC; two brothers: Glenn Sonny Trent of Cape Coral, FL and Chad Trent of Elkview, WV; sister-in-law: Carolyn (Susie) Burgess of Sprattsville; Father-in-law: Raymond Burgess Sr. of Sprattsville; her close friend and caregiver: Tish (Sky) Browning; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 6-9 pm with a special service beginning at 7:00pm with Rev. Cecil Johnson officiating .  Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Chapel with the Rev. Arville Cline officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.

Glenetta will be carried to her final resting place by Family and Friends.

Her tender heart and beautiful smile will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
