Hallie (Goodman) Trent

Hallie Goodman Trent, 79 of Baisden, WV of which she made her home for 61 years went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, and friends on May 29, 2018 at 10:37 pm.

She was the daughter of the late Charles M. Goodman and Mary Prater Goodman.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers.

Hallie gave her life to God in December 5, 1965.  She was a retired LPN & RN and a loving, gracious, faithful, and kind wife and mother.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Hallie are her loving husband of 61 years Clarence Trent; daughter: Veronica (Jerome) Grant of Knoxville, TN; son: Jerome (Tina) Trent of Baisden; 4 grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Grant of Knoxville, TN, Heather (Jacob) Watson of Richmond, KY, Candace Trent of Cary, NC, and Alyssa Trent of Baisden, WV; great grandson: Silas Trenton Grant of Knoxville, TN, and a great grandchild due in October 2018; a host of dear friends and relatives.

Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 12:00 -1:00 pm at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer.  Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Russell King, Rev. Brad Kennedy and Rev. Carl Wolford officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dave Cline Cemetery at Baisden.

Hallie will be carried to her final resting place by Jerome Grant, Joshua Grant, Jacob Watson, Clark Blackburn, Patrick Cline and Brad Butcher.  Honorary pallbearers include Ronnie Mounts, Herman Trent, Cleo England, Earl “Buddy” Trent, Bobby Barber, Charles Lester, Eddie Grimmett, Curt Lester, and Charles Testerman.

Her tender heart and wonderful smile be by greatly missed by all those who were fortunate to have known and love her.
