Helen Dawn (Robinette) Stevens

Helen Dawn “Donna” Stevens, 43 of Simon died Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center after a tragic accident.

Born January 30, 1976 at Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Dave and Shirley (New) Robinette.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband: Jeff Stevens.

Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She loved riding and showing horses and loved rolling stone.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Donna and to mourn her passing include her loving spouse Larry Stevens Jr of Simon; her four daughters: Rebecca Chase (Angie) Stevens of Richlands, Va, Rachel Nicole Stevens, Leah Brooke (Blake Ferrell) Stevens, Megan Naomi Stevens all of Reedy Creek; three stepchildren: Larry Joseph (Natasha) Stevens of Verner, Joshua Lee Stevens of Isaban and Sabrina Stevens of Isaban; five grandchildren: Raelynn Stevens, Meleaha Stevens, Nathanial Stevens, Michael Stevens and Kinley Justice; two brothers: Charlie “Patch” (Chrissy) Robinette of Bluefield, Dencil “Pug” (Lisa) Robinette of North Carolina; two sisters: Shana (Tom) Kennedy of Simon and Angela Chaney of Texas and her children: Kira and Noah; special friends: Jessica Walls, April Vladimery Izcoa and Shauna Cline; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.   

Friends may gather with the family on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel for her funeral at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Larry Stevens officiating.

Burial will follow at Stevens Cemetery at Riverbend Road, Verner, WV.

Donna will be carried to her final resting place by: Joe Stevens, Tom Kennedy, Chase Kennedy, Rocky Asbury, Blake Ferrell and Tyler Ferrell.

Her beautiful smile and tender heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
