Janice Faye Browning

Janice Faye Browning, 82, of Justice, departed this life on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from Dignity Hospice House in Chapmanville, following a long illness.

Born February 22, 1936, at Justice, she was the daughter of the late Ola and Annie Brown.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Clarence Compton “Junior” Browning; a daughter, Linda Faye Browning; a grandson, Aaron Mathers Ferrell; a brother, Ambrose Mathers Brown; 4 sisters: Nina Ferguson, Betty Enevoldson, Helen Vance, and Joyce Toler.

Janice was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and mourn her passing include her children: Anna Sutters (Junior Kennedy) of Simon, Lois (Donald) Roberts of Hanover, La Rae (Jim) Ferrell of Gilbert, with whom she made her home, and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Browning of Justice; 3 grandsons whom she raised, Jody (Tammy) Sutters, Jamie Suuters, and Jarrod Sutters; grandsons David Mark Browning, Jeffrey “JC” Browning, and James Daniel “DJ” Ferrell; granddaughters: Janie (Joe) Cook, Jessica Browning, and Laura Ferrell; great-grandsons: Dustin (Tina) Sutters and Zachary Sutters; great-granddaughters: Briana and Arianna Sutters and Hannah and Emma Cook; a special friend and caregiver, Wanda Walls. Janice also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Monday, March 12, 2018, at the Tamcliffe Tabernacle after 6 pm. Funeral services will commence at the church on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Browning and Rev. Michael Browning officiating.

Burial will follow in the Nathan Justice Cemetery at Justice. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Dignity Hospice House of Chapmanville, WV.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
