Jeremy Keith Brown

Jeremy Keith Brown, 29 of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, formerly of Gilbert, departed this life on July 16, 2018 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 

Born May 7, 1989 in Logan, WV he was the devoted father of Paityn Brown and the beloved son of Margaret and Darrin Brown. His daughter was the light and joy of his life and his main priority was to be a good daddy and to love Paityn wholeheartedly. Jeremy attended Gilbert High School and was an all-state athlete in two sports: basketball and football. He loved to put on his #1 jersey and play under the Friday night lights for his hometown. Upon graduation he followed in the footsteps of many family members and became a coal miner. He was employed by Warrior Met Coal Mine # 4 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  In his free time, he liked to watch sports and cheer passionately for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Duke Blue Devils. 

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents Auxier Endicott, Gaye Endicott, and Chester Brown and uncles Shelby Endicott, Johnnie Endicott, Ricky Endicott, and Rex Brown. 

He is survived by his girlfriend Kaitlyn Davis, grandmother Elma Brown, Uncles Bill (Jackie) Endicott, Clyde (Becky) Endicott, Bobby (Cindy) Endicott, David (Debbie) Endicott, Mike (Irene) Endicott, Roger (Debbie) Endicott, Steve (Glenna) Brown, Roland (Sandra) Brown, Lonnie (Sonja) Brown, Chester (Melanie) Brown, Aaron (Belinda) Brown and his Aunts (Nae Nae) Jennifer (Dale) Collins, Sonja (Todd) Mounts, Rose Endicott, Lorna Sue Baker, Lola (Oscar) Keen, and Kristy Brown, and the mother of his daughter Rachel Browning. He leaves behind a host of cousins, family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Friends may gather with the family Friday, July 20, 2018 after 6:00 pm at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer, where funeral services will commence at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 with Bishop Anthony Hudgins, Pastor Diamond Carter, and Pastor Katie Endicott officiating. Interment will take place at Hollywood Cemetery and Jeremy will be carried to his final resting place by teammates from Gilbert High School. 

He was #1 on the football field and also in our hearts.
