Jerry Lee (Sr.) Toler

Jerry Lee Toler Sr, 74, of Bruno, West Virginia entered to his heavenly home on March 14, 2019.

Jerry was born May 6, 1944 at Bruno, to the late Author and Ester Toler.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma West and Anna Walker; brothers, James Author Toler and Norman Toler.

He was survived by his two brothers, Roger and Danny Toler of Bruno and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry was married to his best friend, Shirley Walker Toler, for 51 years. He would do anything for his two children, Victoria (Todd) Neal and Jerry Toler Jr. His pride and joy were his two grandchildren, Madison and Quinlan Neal.

His devotion to God and the Bruno Church of God began 46 years ago. He has been a Scout Master, Sunday Superintendent, Choir Director, Advisor, Mentor and friend to all who knew him.

Services will be Monday, March 18th, 2019 at the Bruno Church of God. Visitation will be from 12-2pm. Funeral will follow immediately afterwards. He will be laid to rest at the Toler Family Cemetery.

Bro. James Bostic and Bro. Roger Frye will be officiating the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are Timmy Joe Williamson, Mike Vanover, Eugene Ellis, Buck West, Charlie Williamson, Mac Altizer and Arlon Grimmett.  

His wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
