Jimmy Walker

Jimmy Walker 41, of Christian, WV passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Duffville, VA after a sudden illness.

Jimmy was born March 18, 1978 in Man, WV, he was the son of Roy and Charlotte (Toler) Walker also of Christian, WV.

Jimmy was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend.  He loved to draw and spend time with his family.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Jimmy and to mourn his passing include the love of his life: Kendra Walker of Christian; her father: Clint Toler; the light of Jimmy’s life, his son: Bentley Walker of Christian; his parents: Roy & Charlotte Walker of Christian; his brothers: Darrell (Theresa) Walker, Roy (Leslie) Walker; sisters: Crystal (James) Gibson of Christian, Heather (Neal) Browning; six nephews, five nieces, his best friend who was like a brother: Timmy Gravely; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Bruno Church of God from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.  A celebration of Jimmy’s life will begin at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Les Williamson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Christian Cemetery at Christian.

Jimmy will be carried to his final resting place by: Darrell Walker, Roy Walker, James Gibson, Christopher Walker, Johnny Paige Jr. and Michael VanNatter.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Mounts Funeral Home, Inc. in Gilbert to help with funeral expense.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
