Karen (Dotson) Goad

Karen Goad, 74 of Wharncliffe, WV departed this life on Friday, December 13, 2019 from the Logan Center.

Born September 1, 1945 at South Williamson Ky, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Dixie Elizabeth Dotson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband: Eugene Goad; two brothers: Clifton and Ervin Eugene Dotson.

Karen was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She loved spending time and doing things for her family.  She was of the Church of God faith.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Karen and to mourn her passing include her son: Richard Kevin (Angie) Goad of Bull Creek; four grandchildren: Kayla Goad of Gilbert, Cassandra Cline of Bull Creek, Rebecca Hunt of Morgantown, and Maggie Brown of Bull Creek; five great grandchildren; brother: Earl Dotson of Wharncliffe; Ricky Gibson whom she thought of as a son; Greta Cline whom she thought of as a daughter; and special friends: Sheila Miller of Wharncliffe and Sarah Jo Sparks of Wharncliffe.

Friends may gather with the family on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 6-9 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with a special service beginning at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Homer Blankenship and Rev. Jackie Jessie officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dotson Cemetery at Wharncliffe.

Karen will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.

She is gone from our sight  but never from our hearts.
