Lenden C. Vanover

Lenden Vanover, 65, of Justice, departed this life on Thursday, May 10, 2018, from his residence.

Born July 23, 1952, at Hanover, he was the son of the late Franklin and Gladys (Mullins) Vanover. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Orva Elaine Vanover, and one son, Richard Douglas Vanover.

Lenden loved walking and enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He also loved his pets. Lenden will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to love and cherish Lenden’s memory are his son, Scott (Kristi) Vanover of Ohio; his grandson, Jordan Vanover of Sunhill; his granddaughter, Aliva Vanover of Beckley; his brother, Louis (Rhodella) Vanover of Gilbert. Lenden also leaves behind many nieces and nephews along with a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Justice Tabernacle after 6 pm where a funeral service will commence at 7 pm with Rev. Randall Staton officiating.

To honor his wishes, Lenden will be cremated following the services.

He is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
