Linda Gail (Gibson) Blankenship

Linda Gail Blankenship, 54 of Gilbert, WV., departed this life Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born February 10, 1965 at Welch, WV., she was the daughter of Rosie Gibson and the late Robert Gibson.

In addition to her father, Linda was also preceded in death by her husband: Junior Blankenship; father who raised her: Raymond Gibson; sister-in-law: Donna Gibson; nephew: Adam Gibson.

Linda enjoyed being outdoors, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was of the Christian Faith.

Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her mother: Rosie Gibson of Man; daughter: Candy Lusk; son: James Blankenship; grandchildren: Cory James and Brooklyn Paige Blankenship, all of Gilbert; sister: Patricia Belcher of Man; brothers: Ricky Goodman of Gilbert, Michael Gibson of Man and Brian (Christy) Gibson of Orient, Ohio; daughter-in-law: Billie Blankenship of Gilbert; brother-in-law: Randy Mayfield of Man; son-in-law: Gary Truman of Gilbert; nephews: Brandon Gibson of Man and Joey Goodman of Gilbert; nieces: Tiffany  Belcher and Ashley Gibson, both of Man, and McKenna and Layla Gibson, both of Orient, Ohio; great nephew: Adam Gibson of Man; sister-in-law: Brenda Goodman of Gilbert.  She also leaves behind a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 6 to 9 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel, Gilbert, WV., with special services at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will commence on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Diamond Carter and Rev. Lowell Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Browning Grimmett Cemetery at Bruno, WV.

Linda will be carried to her final resting place by family and friends.

She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
