Linda (Jackson) Mounts

Linda Mounts, 73 of Delbarton, departed this life on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from Cabell Huntington Hospital to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Born May 5, 1945 at Wharncliffe, WV she was the daughter of the late Helms & Ruth (Patrick) Jackson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Rayburn Mounts Sr; son: Michael Mounts; sister: Francine Jackson.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  Linda was a member of the Jesus Name Ministries Outreach.  She loved to sing in church, she enjoyed cleaning, and she loved to spend time with her dog Angel.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Linda and to mourn her passing include her seven children: Rayburn Mounts Jr of Oklahoma, Joyce (Johnny) Ferguson of Horsepen, Sherri (Larry) Cisco of Beech Creek, Bessie (Kenneth) Blevins of Wharncliffe, Barbara (Matthew) Stanley of Wharncliffe, Richard (Tina) Mounts of Matewan, and Kimberly (Travis) Hatfield of Browning Fork; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother: Irvan Jackson of Wharncliffe, many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends. 

Friends may gather with the family on Sunday, August 26, 2018 after 6:00 pm at the Wharncliffe Church of God.  Funeral services will commence on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the Brother Larry Sperry and Brother J.R. Nelson officiating.

Burial will follow at Mounts Family Cemetery at Slick Rock Bottom, Delbarton, WV.

Linda will be carried to her final resting place by Travis Hatfield, Andrew Prater, Tyler Gibson, John Jenkins, and James Prince.

Honorary pallbearers include: Russell Ray Prince, Larry Cisco, Randall Stanley, Kenneth Blevins and Brandon Salmons.

The family request that donations be made to Mounts Funeral Home, Inc. in lieu of flowers.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
