Merle “Heath” Walls, 44, of Welch, WV, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 14, 2017, from his residence.

Born March 17, 1973, at Man, WV, he was the son of Mary Walls and the late Travis Walls, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Mona Walls, his maternal grandparents, John and Avis Brown, and his uncles, Mayford and Thomas Walls.

Heath was a member of the Hanover House of Faith where he loved attending church. He showed love everywhere he went, offering a hug to everyone he met. Heath took pride in his truck driving profession. In his leisure time, he enjoyed running equipment, playing piano, and spending time with his family. Above everything, Heath was a daddy. He adored his kids and did his best to be a good father.

Those left to cherish his memory include his three kids: Desiree, Ryan, and Jacob Walls; his mother, Mary Walls; sisters: Caralee (Joey) Lawrence and Sam Walls; brother, Travis “Gwinn” Jr., (Laura) Walls of Geneva, AL; uncles: Jarvis (Jennifer) Walls and Dewayne (Drema) Walls; aunts: Clara Cline, Maecene Toler and Charlotte Maynor; his niece, Savannah (Elliot) Cline; nephews: Christopher (Lakyn) Morgan, Nathan Walls, and Daniel (Destiny) Walls of Geneva, AL; four great-nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family on Monday, December 18, 2017, after 6:00 pm at the Hanover House of Faith where funeral services will commence at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, with Rev. Randall Staton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Walls Family Cemetery at North Spring, WV. Heath will be carried to his final resting place by his family and friends.

His energetic spirit and kind soul will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known him.
