Norma Jean (Tiller) Morgan, 79 of Coal Mountain, formerly of Long Branch, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, April 6, 2018 at her daughter’s residence, with whom she made her home, in Justice, WV.
She was born February 18, 1939, to the late Elbert and Ethel (Browning) Tiller at Spice Creek, Verner, WV.
In addition to her parents Jean was also preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 54 years: Frank “Doe” Morgan; her sisters: Melva Mounts and Lena Mae Tiller; her brothers: Russell and Joe Tiller; her grandson: Kyle Ray Kenneda; son-in-law: Pernell Lester.
Jean loved drawing, painting and working with flowers. But above all, she enjoyed going to church and serving the Lord. Jean was a member of the Apostolic House of Faith.
Those left to love and cherish her memory and to mourn her loss are her daughters: Melinda Morgan (Randy Lovejoy) of Justice, Kimberly “Fuzz” Morgan of Coal Mountain, Tammy (Roy) Payne of North Carolina, Sherry (Steven) May of Ikes Fork; her sons: Terry (Vickie) Morgan of Kegley, Timmy (Pam) Morgan of Simon, Logan Morgan of Justice and Shane (Kayla) Morgan of Coal Mountain; her grandkids: Jessica (Kevin) Kenneda, her precious angel, Devan Hatfield, Benita (Jeremy) Hunt, Tommy (Leslie) West, T.J. Toler, Ryan Lester, Eric (Lindsey) Morgan, Amber Lester, Susan (Brandon) Sherwood, Amy (Max) Boty ; her babies: Kylee Kenneda, “her sugar booger”, Lynzee Toler “little red”, Jaxon and Braxton Hunt, Savannah, Laken and Luke Morgan, Megan and Grace Sherwood, Mitchell and Jonathan Boty; her brother: Jimmy (Nancy) Tiller of Horsepen; her special sisters-in-law: Adelene Adams and Polly Jones; special nieces: Carnetta Cline and Benita Barnett; special friend: Allen Kenneda.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, April 10, 2018 and Wednesday, April 11, 2018 after 6 pm at the Upper Room Jesus Name Church at Long Branch, Simon, WV., where funeral services will commence on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Gary Toler and Rev. Joey Massey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery at Long Branch.
Jean will be carried to her final resting place by her family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen, Brad and Kevin Kennedy. Jack Morgan and Jimmy Tiller.
Her wonderful smile and gentle heart will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known and loved her.
