Norma “Mickey” Vinson, 76 of Hanover, departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from her residence.
Born March 4, 1942 at Welch, WV she was the daughter of the late Albert & Wonnie (Cline) Blackburn.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: William “Bill” Vinson; brother: Earl Blackburn.
Mickey was a fun person to be around, always laughing and joking. She loved to exercise, read books, spend time with her precious family and attend the Justice Church of God.
Those left to love and cherish her sweet memory and to mourn her passing include her daughter: Tina Cline and companion David Fortner of Justice; her son: Jamie ( Melissa) Matney of Baisden; her special granddaughter: Brandy (Donnie) West of Justice; her grandson: Jeremy Huff of Delbarton; four great grandchildren: Destiny Blankenship of Simon, Jayden Blankenship, McKenzie Cline and Alaya West all of Justice; two brothers: Sambo Blackburn and Ricky Blackburn both of Baisden; two sisters: Barbara (Carless) Wiley of Baisden and Drema (Joe) McVicker of Buchanan County; special niece: Tori McVicker; many other nieces and nephews and a host of dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel from 6-9 pm. Funeral services will commence on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Mounts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Trent officiating.
Burial will follow at Justice Memorial Gardens, Justice, WV.
Mickey will be carried to her final resting place by: Nathan Justice, Trey Owens, White Dotson, David Fortner, Dinky West and Clark Blackburn.
Her tender heart and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
