Roger Paul Toler

On the morning of September 21, 2019, Roger Paul Toler of Bruno, WV departed this life at the age of 73.

Roger was born to the Late Rev. Author & Easter (Altizer) Toler on June 1, 1946.

In addition to his parents Roger was preceded in death by three brothers: Norman, Jerry and James Toler; two sisters: Wilma West and Anna Walker.

Roger was a coal miner until 1978 at Snap Creek Coal Company where he was hurt and could no longer work.  He loved talking about his family and telling stories.

On June 2, 1966, Roger married his loving wife Donna Sue Parsons and together they raised three children; Roger Paul Toler Jr., Kimberly Dawn Toler (Riddle) and Anthony Ray Toler.

Those left to love and cherish the memory of Roger and to mourn his passing include his wife Donna of 53 years; brother: Danny “Boon” Toler and his three children: Buggie, Kim and Tony; many nieces and nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

A public memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Bruno Church of God with Brother Shawn Walker, Brother Roger Frye and Brother Roger Toler Jr officiating.

Roger will be laid to rest at the Toler Family Cemetery.
