Roland Duke White
July 18, 1956 ~ November 13, 2017 (age 61) 61 Years OldRoland Duke White, 61 of Kistler, departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2017 from Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born July 18, 1956 at Logan, he was the son of James White Sr. and the late Lillie Bell White.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years Vickie White.
Those left to love and cherish the memory of Roland and to mourn his passing include his two sons: Randy Chambers of Cleveland, OH and Roland Duke Chambers of Cleveland, OH; daughter in-law: Aimee Rakijasic of Champion, OH; four grandchildren: Nico Dyer of Cleveland, OH, Alena, Alese and Ashlynne Rakijasic all of Champion, OH; father: James White Sr of Kistler; five sisters: Linda (Bill) Simpkins of Michigan; Gayle (Phil) Norten, Nora (Bill) McNeil all of Florida; Nina Homa of Youngstown, OH, Rosa (Dewey) Ellis of WV; four brothers: James (Linda) White Jr. of Michigan, Forrest (Nioka) White, Jack (“Pat” Teresa) White, Randy (Shannon) White all of Man, WV; along with a host of other dear family and friends.
Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm for a graveside service at the home of Jack White at Bruno, WV.
To honor his wishes Roland has been cremated.
