Ronnie Mounts, 66 of Gilbert, WV left this life to meet his Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, Tn.
Born September 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Maerene Mounts. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his father-in-law David Ward Sr., and his 3 brothers Lanny, Glen, and Mitchell Mounts.
Ronnie is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, April Ward-Mounts, mother-in-love Linda Ward, brother-in-love David Jr. (Brittney) Ward, sister-in-love Angela (David) Sparks, sister Linda (Mark) Cline all of the Gilbert, WV area. Brother Lonnie Skipper (Andrea) Mounts of Pennsylvania, sister Jennifer (Danny Sr.) Mounts of South Carolina, sons Robert Mounts of Tennessee, Anthony (Melissa) Mounts of Tennessee, Bradley (Stephanie) Mounts of Georgia and daughter Valarie (Joel) Hayes also of Georgia. Ronnie also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and his church family of Eagle Sanctuary in Christian, WV.
Ronnie was a kind, humble soul that loved to laugh. His favorite things were: time with family, The Game Show Network, and his wife and their dog, Max. He spent much of his time helping to care for his nieces and nephews, whom he referred to as the babes.
Friends may gather at Eagle Sanctuary of Christian, WV on Friday, July 13, 2018 beginning at 11am. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, with Bishop Anthony Hudgins officiating.
Ronnie will be carried to his final resting place at Hollywood Cemetery of Gilbert, WV by pallbearers: Bradley Mounts, Jeremy Mounts, Justin Sparks, David Ward III, Devon Poe, and Dalton Shepard
Honorary Pallbearers are: David Ward Jr., David Sparks, Michael Mikee Ward, Ryan Davis, Michael Ward, Paul Ward, James Evans, Howard Lee and William Joe Poe

Ronnie is gone from our sight only until we meet again in Heaven.
