Roy Neil Perry

Roy Neil Perry, 57, of Gilbert WV, succumbed to illness on Monday, September 2, 2019 at his residence.

Neil was preceded in death by his father: Roy Perry; mother: Glenna Toler; his daughter: Misty Ann Lane; as well as his brothers: Emmit, Rocky, and Wayne Fields.

Neil was a loving father and friend to everyone. He was a simple man that knew how to take the good with bad in life. Everyone that knew him, could see he had an extraordinary heart. He spent most of his time watching NASCAR, College football, or his favorite TV re-runs. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and speaking to his children over the phone. It will be very difficult to let him go, but good to know he is in a better place. Neil was a member of the Horsepen Southern Baptist Church.

Those left to mourn his loss are his son, Anthony (Sheree) Perry; daughter: Brandy (Shane) Davis; and his grandchildren: Christyan, Holton, and Remington. Neil also left behind grandchildren from his late daughter, Misty: Corey, Dakota, Dustin, and Lindsay. In addition, Neil leaves behind his sister: Diana (Mike) Francis; brothers: Terry Perry, Glenn (Diane) Fields, and David (Renae) Fields, as well as his nieces and nephews. 

His service will be held at Horsepen Southern Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Family will gather at 11:00 a.m. and close friends are welcome from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will not be held.

Neil will be carried to his finally resting place at Hollywood Cemetery by family and friends. Rev. Billy (Sabrina) Manuel will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to Mounts Funeral Home.
